Travel Nuclear Medicine Tech - $2,806 per week in Towson, MD

Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 07:30 - 18:00 Experience: Minimum 2 years preferred License: Active state license required Certifications: ARRT N, ARRT R, BLS, NMTCB Must-Have: Strong skills and experience required in nuclear medicine procedures Previous charge experience preferred Experience with Epic charting system preferred Experience in community hospital settings preferred Description: This position involves performing nuclear stress tests with a high scan load for both outpatient and inpatient settings. You will conduct HIDA scans, VQ scans, biliary studies, lymph injections, and amyloid studies. Familiarity with GE equipment, specifically the SPEC CTG850, is required. Black scrubs are to be worn during shifts. You are required to float within the specialty and possibly other units. Weekends and holidays may be required as scheduled. Weekday on-call coverage will be required twice per week from 4 PM to 10 PM. Weekend on-call coverage will be required every other weekend, either Saturday or Sunday, but not both consecutive days. You should have experience with pharmacological stress tests and be skilled in starting and maintaining IVs. Other key skills include renal perfusion studies and managing radioactive materials safely. Candidates should be comfortable working with a diverse patient population, including adults and geriatrics.
