Travel Nuclear Medicine Tech - $2,826 per week in Keene, NH

Job Title: Technologist or Technician Profession: Technologist or Technician Specialty: Nuclear Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: One year experience in Nuclear Medicine preferred License: MIRT required Certifications: Certification from an accredited program in Nuclear Medicine Technology or an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology Must-Have: Graduate of an accredited program in Nuclear Medicine Technology or AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology Description: Under the administrative direction of the Nuclear Medicine Supervisor and Radiation Safety Officer, performs duties directly involved with various technical procedures in the application of radionuclides for patient diagnosis and treatment. Coordinates and schedules patients for routine and emergency procedures. Obtains additional clinical history from patients and ordering physicians when necessary. Performs all requested procedures while setting the appropriate technical factors. Utilizes computer systems to enhance all areas of interest and duplicates all images to hard permanent copies. Informs the Radiation Safety Officer of any leaks or spills and takes appropriate steps to isolate spills or leaks, protecting patients and personnel from further contamination.
