Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technician Profession: Radiology/Cardiology Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Tech Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Hours Experience: 2 Years Required License: California State License Required Certifications: BLS, NMTCB (or ARRT N) Required Must-Have: - Minimum of 2 years of experience - Previous experience with PET scans preferred, but willing to train on site - No first-time travelers accepted unless they meet the experience requirement Description: We are seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technician for our facility. The clinician will be expected to perform PET scans. Orientation shifts will likely be 0800 - 1630 for the first two weeks. The schedule will be Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 17:30, with no weekends or holidays required. There is an opportunity to take call shifts if the clinician is interested, but it is not required. Call shifts will be scheduled Monday through Friday from 0430 to 2200, and on Saturday and Sunday from 0600 to 2200, with a 60-minute response time. Local candidates preferred within 50 miles of the facility. The role will involve performing general nuclear medicine studies, Lexi scans, and PET/CT procedures. Preferred skills include cardiac procedures, especially for those interested in call shifts. Special equipment related to nuclear medicine will be utilized. Candidates must be willing to float between various facilities within a given region. Compliance with all required safety and operational standards is essential.
