The shift includes four 10-hour days, primarily Monday through Wednesday, with Saturday hours. Two years of experience are required, but first-timers are accepted. Weekend work is mandated. Certifications required include BLS and either NMTCB or ARRT certifications in Nuclear Medicine and CT. PET experience is essential, and a state license is necessary. The role involves various imaging procedures including cardiac perfusion scans, viability studies, and other advanced nuclear medicine diagnostics. Healthcare providers may be called off during low census periods. The facility supports a range of interdisciplinary services. Flexibility in working varied shifts may be needed. Candidates will work with adult and geriatric populations. The daily patient volume is expected to be around eight visits per day. The environment includes collaboration with IV teams, respiratory services, and other support services. Ideal candidates should have experience with medical charting systems. Strong abilities in handling radioactive materials safely is a must. Supervisory references are preferred.
