Travel Nuclear Medicine Tech - $3,041 per week in Charleston, WV

Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Profession: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8H Days Hours per Shift: 40 hours per week Experience: Minimum 2 years License: WV State Licensure required Certifications: ARRT or NMTCB certification, BLS required, Certified Nuclear Cardiology Technologist (NMTCB-NCT) Must-Have: Experience with IV starts and ECGs Description: Clienttion badge is required to be provided by the agency; facility will not provide. There are 4 scanners/rooms in this department. No floating or covering other areas required. Common types of imaging/studies performed include Cardiac, HIDA, gastric emptying, lung scans, and thyroid uptake. The average number of scans/studies performed per day is 12-15. The department uses EMR-Meditech Expanse and PACS-AGFA IMPAX. Department-specific equipment includes 2 Siemens E-cam and 2 Philips Brightview. No Registered Radiology Assistants (RRA) are used. A radiologist is in-house. IV starts are required. Shifts are scheduled from Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM; self-scheduling is not available. Weekend coverage is by call every 4th weekend. The call requirement is one day a week when not on call for the weekend. Black colored scrubs without embroidery are required; no Crocs with holes or backless shoes. Department-specific orientation is provided. Cancellation policy is 2 shifts per 13-week assignment/extension and 1 shift for less than 13 weeks.
