Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS), Injections, Lift/Move 35 Pounds, Lift/Move 50 Pounds, Medical Imaging, Medical Treatment, Nuclear Medicine
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients orally, by injection, or inhalation for diagnostic imaging.
- Explain imaging procedures to patients, answer their questions, and ensure patient comfort and proper positioning for scans.
- Operate imaging equipment, including SPECT/CT scanners, to obtain diagnostic images.
- Process and generate computer images of various organs (brain, thyroid, bone, heart, lungs, kidneys, liver) for physician interpretation.
Requirements:
- Active NH license and certification in nuclear medicine.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
- Preferred: At least 1 year of experience in nuclear medicine.
- Strong technical, computer, communication, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 35-50 pounds and standing/walking for extended periods.
- Ability to perform all essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.W
