ARRT or NMTCB certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology is required. One year of acute clinical radiology experience is needed. At least one year of experience as a nuclear medicine technologist is required. Knowledge of mobile and stationary radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment is essential. Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is required. Graduate of a program accredited by JRCNMT or CAMRT is needed. Proficient computer skills are required. The Nuclear Medicine Technologist works collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team. Responsible for providing quality imaging. Works in support of the Radiologist. Provides assistance in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS. BLS certification is required. DCI/BVP experience is necessary.
