Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8-Hour Hours per Shift: 09:00 - 17:30 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: State license required Certifications: BLS, NMTCB (or ARRT N) Must-Have: - Prior experience with PET scans preferred, but willing to train on-site. - No weekend or holiday shifts. - Opportunity to take call shifts if interested, but not required. Description: We are seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform various nuclear medicine procedures. The role includes conducting PET scans, and training will be provided if necessary. Orientation shifts will be scheduled for the first two weeks from 08:00 - 16:30. Candidates will be expected to work a 5x8 schedule from Monday to Friday. Call shifts may be available during weekdays and weekends, with a 60-minute response time if on call. Local candidates are encouraged to apply, but travel experience is required. Certification in BLS and NMTCB (or ARRT N) is necessary. Candidates must possess a valid state license prior to starting the assignment. The facility specializes in general nuclear medicine studies and can conduct up to 15 PET scans per day. Interdisciplinary support, including interpretation services, is available. We value willing learners and provide training as needed. The work environment is supportive and focuses on patient care for adults and geriatric populations.
