Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Profession: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Certification required by state regulations Certifications: BLS (AHA), Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist - ARRT or NMTCB Must-Have: Experience with PET/CT preferred Familiarity with MIM, iMed Scheduling, Keane Radiology System, Philips iSite, Enterprise PACS, or similar systems Description: Position: Nuclear Medicine Technologist. Outpatient services account for 90% of the workload, while inpatient services account for 10%. Technologist will inject patients with radioisotopes. Responsibilities include assessing gallbladder function and addressing an uptick in bone concerns. Patients may be on the nuclear medicine table for 30 minutes to 1 hour. Technologist will conduct echocardiograms and stress tests before returning to nuclear medicine for an additional hour. Experience performing myocardial perfusion studies is required. Candidates are preferred to have experience with PET/CT and relevant technical systems. Schedule includes Monday through Thursday 10-hour shifts, with an expected arrival time between 6:00 AM and 6:30 AM. Position is currently within a mobile unit as equipment is being replaced. The role does not require any call, nights, or weekends.
