Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technician Profession: Nuclear Medicine Technician Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Technician Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day shift Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year License: Current State Nuclear Medicine License Certifications: ARRT or NMTCB certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology Must-Have: - One year of acute, clinical radiology experience - At least one year of experience as a nuclear medicine technologist - Knowledge of mobile and stationary radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment - Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology - Graduate of a program accredited by JRCNMT or CAMRT - Current BCLS certification - Proficient computer skills - CT/Fusion Certification Description: The Nuclear Medicine Technologist works collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team. They are responsible for providing quality imaging. The technologist supports the Radiologist by assisting in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. They are responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS. BLS, DCI/BVP is required.
