Travel Nuclear Medicine Tech - $3,146 per week in Billings, MT

Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Profession: Radiology/Cardiology Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours (07:00 - 15:30) Experience: Minimum of 1 year in specialty License: Must possess NMTCB or ARRT (N) at time of hire Certifications: BLS, ARRT (N) or NMTCB Must-Have: Candidates must possess either NMTCB or ARRT (N) at time of hire. Description: The technologists cover general Nuclear Medicine, PET, and cardiac studies. The department also performs various therapies, including Y90s, Luthathera, and Pluvicto. Unit doses are provided daily by an outside radiopharmacy. Normal operating hours are from 6:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Daily duties include QA, venipuncture, and scheduled exam protocol review. Experience in PACS and PET is required. Preferred experience includes ER, adult ICU, phlebotomy, and radiation planning therapy. Candidates with experience in Y90s, Luthathera, or Pluvicto are preferred. Familiarity with Epic and Cerner is also preferred. Interdisciplinary support includes Radiology. Preferred diagnoses experience includes neonates, infants, pediatrics, and adolescents. Special procedures the technologists will handle include various nuclear medicine and PET protocols. The daily patient census typically ranges from 6 to 10. The unit has 4 rooms available for procedures.
