Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Tech Duration: 26 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 1 year required License: Valid state license required Certifications: BLS, ARRT(N) or NMTCB, PET (preferred), ARRT (N) or NMTCB/CA license, CT Advanced Certification (preferred) Must-Have: - PET experience highly preferred - Willingness to work on major holidays - Ability to float between similar units Description: The Nuclear Medicine Technologist is responsible for performing nuclear medicine procedures. Experience in performing PET/CT imaging is preferred. Candidates must possess strong technical skills and a thorough understanding of nuclear medicine practices. Daily responsibilities include conducting various nuclear medicine studies and interpreting results. Candidates should be able to operate nuclear medicine equipment effectively. The role may include rotating weekend shifts and occasional call duties. Candidates must exhibit flexibility in scheduling and a commitment to teamwork. Prior experience with a charting system is preferred. Interdisciplinary collaboration is essential for patient care. Experience with Siemens equipment is strongly preferred.
