Description

American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a clinic setting requiring 1+ years of experience and strong myocardial imaging skills.

Details

  • Clinic setting within Heart & Vascular Services
  • Adult patient population
  • 8-10 cases per day with a 1:1 patient ratio
  • Utilizes GE and Siemens equipment
  • Epic charting system used
  • 5x8 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
  • No weekends and no call requirements
  • Any scrub color permitted

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience required
  • ARRT (N) or CNMT certification required
  • BLS certification required
  • NJ state license required prior to start (license required if applicable)
  • Epic charting experience required
  • Strong myocardial knowledge and skills required
  • Experience with adenosine infusion, exercise/rest single and multiple studies, Persantine infusion, pharmacological stress, and thallium stress testing
  • Proficiency in drawing venous blood and starting/maintaining IVs
  • Knowledge of isolation precautions/PPE and storing, handling, and disposal of radioactive materials

Additional Information

  • Holiday policy requires working 2 of 3 major holidays
  • First-time travelers will be considered for this role
  • Local candidates accepted at the same rate
