Nuclear Medicine/ PET CT scan Tech Days 200 UCLA Medical Los Angeles, CA, 90095 Nuclear Medicine and CT and/or Xray license and critical to have the dual-license. Tech will be performing PET/CT and CT diagnostic imaging w/contrast. Experience- 1 year preferred Shift-Mon-Fri, no call or weekends- This position has varied start times from 0600 - 1000 Will clinician float within scope to meet facility needs? Yes Floating Req to Sister Facilities: Yes, as needed- support to multiple sites, including but not limited to Westwood, Santa Monica, Encino, and Santa Clarita as requested by the chief technologist, according to business need. Scrubs: Royal Blue Special Requirements: Nuclear Medicine/PET-CT Technology is a medical specialty that utilizes radioactive materials and X-rays to make diagnostic evaluation of the anatomic and/or physiologic conditions of the human body and to provide therapeutic treatment with unsealed radioactive sources. The Dual Licensed Nuclear Medicine/PET-CT Technologist is an allied health professional who, under the direction of a licensed authorized user or license designee, is committed to applying the art and skill of diagnostic evaluation and therapeutics for all ages through safe and effective use of radionuclides. The incumbent will provide support to multiple sites, including but not limited to Westwood, Santa Monica, Encino, and Santa Clarita as requested by the chief technologist, according to business need.
