Job Title: Nuclear Medicine/PET CT Technologist Profession: Radiology/Cardiology Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Tech Duration: 26 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Hours Experience: 1 Year Preferred License: Nuclear Medicine and CT and/or X-ray License Certifications: ARRT N, CNMT, NMTCB, PET, ARRT CT/NMTCB Must-Have: Dual-Licensed Nuclear Medicine/PET-CT Technologist Description: The Nuclear Medicine/PET CT Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging using PET/CT and CT with contrast. This position offers Monday through Friday shifts, with varied start times. No on-call or weekend work is required. The technologist will support multiple sites as needed, accommodating facility requirements. Floating to various locations may be required based on the business need. The role is critical in applying the art and skill of diagnostic evaluation and therapeutics for patients of all ages. Safe and effective use of radionuclides is essential in this specialty. Experience with starting and maintaining IVs is required. Skills in storing, handling, and disposal of radioactive materials are necessary. Prior experience with charting systems is preferred. Candidates should be comfortable working in adult clinic settings and following isolation precautions/PPE guidelines.
