Job Description
Nuclear Medicine Technologist responsible for performing diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures in a high-acuity hospital setting. The technologist will conduct imaging studies, administer radiopharmaceuticals, ensure radiation safety compliance, and support both routine and advanced nuclear medicine and PET/CT procedures across diverse patient populations.
Mandatory Skills / Experience
Minimum 1 year Nuclear Medicine Tech experience required
First-time travelers accepted
ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification required
NM State License required (pending accepted)
PET/CT experience preferred
CT license preferred (can be pending; required for PET/CT support)
BLS certification required
Strong knowledge of radiation safety and sterile handling procedures
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced imaging environment
Clinical Procedures Required – Cardiac imaging, bone scans, HIDA scans, MUGA, renograms, liver/spleen scans, infection imaging, SPECT/CT, PET/CT (FDG, DOTATATE, PSMA), thyroid studies, tumor localization, renal flow studies, ventilation/perfusion lung scans, and therapeutic procedures (I-131, Xofigo, Lutathera).
