Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Augusta, GA

Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | 5x8-Hour Shifts (shifts may vary between 7:30–16:00 or 8:30–17:00) | Every other weekend required | Weekend call one weekend per month

• Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures for an adult to geriatric patient population
• Operate PET imaging equipment; general nuclear medicine procedures performed as assigned (no cardiac at this time)
• Utilize facility systems including Epic and Pyxis in daily workflow
• Float within the facility as needed and within scope of practice
• Adhere to holiday and weekend scheduling requirements as outlined in assignment terms

• Active CNMT and/or NMTCB certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of nuclear medicine experience (first-time travelers accepted)
• PET imaging experience required
• Proficiency with Epic and Pyxis systems
• Ability to work every other weekend and fulfill weekend call obligations (one weekend per month)

• Experience working with adult and geriatric patient populations in a hospital setting
• Familiarity with both general nuclear medicine and dedicated PET imaging workflows

• Work within a well-established radiology and cardiology department with access to advanced imaging technology
