PET/CT Technologist

Key Responsibilities
Perform PET/CT imaging procedures across a variety of settings, including outpatient centers, mobile coaches, and hospital-based facilities
Ensure patient safety through pre-screening for contraindications, aseptic injection technique, and adherence to radiation safety regulations and documentation requirements when working with radioactive materials
Produce high-quality diagnostic PET/CT images by interpreting physician orders and selecting appropriate software options and imaging parameters
Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures and ensuring comfort and satisfaction throughout the imaging process
Troubleshoot scanner, coach, and peripheral equipment including monitors, PACS, and associated systems
Train new technologists and support staff as needed
Required Qualifications
1–2 years of PET/CT experience
Valid Radiology/CT Technologist license in the state of New Hampshire
Nuclear Medicine certification through ARRT or NMTCB
Proficiency operating GE Discovery PET/CT equipment
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience working in multiple imaging environments, including mobile and inpatient settings
Strong patient communication skills with the ability to put patients at ease during procedures
