    Job Title

    Nuclear Medicine Technologist

    Location

    Glendale, CA | Acute Care

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Days | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM | 1–2 weekends per month | Holiday and weekend call per need | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Perform a range of nuclear medicine imaging studies including Myocardial Perfusion (Lexiscan), Hepatobiliary System Scans, Renal Imaging with Lasix, WBC Radiolabeling, Lymphoscintigraphy, Bone Scans, Lung Perfusion and Ventilation Scans, and Thyroid Uptake and Scans
    • Operate department equipment including Siemens Symbia and Philips Forte scanners across two dedicated scanning rooms, averaging 4–5 studies per day
    • Perform IV starts, primarily for outpatient procedures
    • Utilize Merge PACS and Cerner EMR for image management and documentation within the RIS/HIS/PACS environment
    • Apply solid knowledge of medical terminology and perform job-related communication and arithmetic calculations as required
    • Adhere to all Radiation Safety and Safety Program protocols and participate in department-specific orientation
    Required Qualifications
    • Active California Nuclear Medicine Technologist License (CNMT) required
    • ARRT-NM and/or NMTCB certification required
    • Current BLS/CPR certification required
    • Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in a full-service Radiology/Nuclear Medicine Department
    • IV certification required
    • Proficiency with RIS/HIS/PACS systems and computer skills applicable to the role
    • Completion of Radiation Safety/Safety Program-related coursework
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Hands-on experience with Siemens Symbia and/or Philips Forte imaging equipment
    • Familiarity with Merge PACS and Cerner EMR platforms
    • Experience performing the full range of nuclear medicine studies listed in the responsibilities section
