Key Responsibilities- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients orally, by injection, or inhalation for diagnostic imaging purposes.
- Operate imaging equipment including SPECT/CT scanners to capture images of the brain, thyroid, bone, heart, lungs, kidneys, and liver.
- Explain imaging procedures to patients, answer questions, ensure comfort, and position patients appropriately for scanning.
- Maintain detailed records of radiopharmaceutical types and amounts used, as well as procedural documentation.
- Produce computer-generated images for physician interpretation and process images using relevant software systems.
- Follow established radiation safety procedures to protect patients and staff from unnecessary radiation exposure.
Required Qualifications- Active New Hampshire license and certification to practice Nuclear Medicine Technology required.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification required.
- Proficiency in operating nuclear medicine imaging equipment and ensuring radiation safety protocols.
- Strong technical and computer skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Effective communication, interpersonal, critical thinking, and analytical skills.
Preferred Experience / Skills- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist preferred.
- Familiarity with Radiant Epic or similar electronic health record systems.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain current knowledge of advances and innovations in the nuclear medicine field.
