Nuclear Medicine Technologist – Radiology/Cardiology

Schedule / Job TypeContract | Days | 4x10-Hour Shifts | Monday–Friday | Block Scheduling | Outpatient Clinic
Key Responsibilities- Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures including bone scans, liver imaging, gastric emptying studies, myocardial perfusion, ventilation, and captopril studies
- Operate GE imaging equipment and conduct SPECT imaging of bone, thyroid, and cardiac structures
- Support nuclear cardiology procedures within an adult outpatient clinic setting
- Manage a caseload of approximately 6–8 cases per day
- Accurately document and chart all patient information using EPIC
- Float within skillset as required based on census and staffing needs
Required Qualifications- Active ARRT certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology
- Active New Jersey state license or Compact license (required at time of submission)
- BLS certification (required at time of submission)
- Minimum of 2 years of nuclear medicine technologist experience
- Ability to work 2 of 3 designated holidays as required
- Must adhere to agreed-upon block schedule; no schedule changes accommodated once onsite
Preferred Experience / Skills- Prior experience in adult outpatient clinic environments
- Hands-on experience with nuclear cardiology procedures and GE imaging systems
- Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records charting
