Contract | Days, 4x10-Hour Shifts (7:30 AM – 6:00 PM) | No Weekend or On-Call Requirements
Key Responsibilities
Perform nuclear medicine and CT imaging procedures on an adult outpatient population, with an expected volume of approximately 6–8 cases per technologist per day
Conduct pulmonary studies including Lung Perfusion and Ventilation/Perfusion scans
Perform myocardial imaging including Exercise/Rest (Single and Multiple) and Pharmacological Stress studies; nuclear cardiology experience is required
Execute bone and renal studies including 3-Phase, Limited, and Whole Body Bone Scans, as well as Captopril Renal Flow imaging
Perform GI, thyroid, and liver studies including Gastric Emptying, I-123 Uptake, and Liver Imaging, as well as SPECT imaging (Bone, Thyroid, and Cardiac)
Document and chart all procedures using EPIC; float within skillset as operationally required
Required Qualifications
Must hold both a Nuclear Medicine credential and a CT credential — this is a hard requirement with no exceptions
Acceptable Nuclear Medicine credentials: ARRT(N) or CNMT
Acceptable CT credentials: ARRT(CT), NMTCB(CT), or R.T.(R)(CT)(ARRT) — note that R.T.(N)(CT)(ARRT) satisfies both the Nuclear Medicine and CT requirements
BLS certification required
Active NJ license required; pending NJ license submissions are accepted
Minimum 2 years of experience, with nuclear cardiology experience required
Local candidates are welcome and accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior experience working in a high-volume outpatient imaging environment
Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records system
Broad proficiency across multiple nuclear medicine modalities including SPECT and cardiac imaging
