    Job Title

    Nuclear Medicine Technologist

    Location

    Reno, NV | Acute Care

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | 4x10s, Days (6:30am–5:00pm, Rotating Days) | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide high-quality Nuclear Medicine imaging data to interpreting physicians in accordance with departmental procedures and applicable State and Federal regulations
    • Perform Nuclear Medicine services across a broad patient population including Neonatal, Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric age groups
    • Operate state-of-the-art scintillation cameras, computers, and related support equipment to produce high-quality Nuclear Medicine studies
    • Coordinate with physicians and nursing personnel regarding patient scheduling, patient preparation, and appropriate exam selection
    • Perform minor clerical duties and may be requested to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and additional shifts based on department needs
    • Float to other areas of the organization as needed, up to competency level
    Required Qualifications
    • Active ARRT or RCIS certification required
    • Nevada State License required — must be in hand prior to start date
    • BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
    • Minimum 2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience required
    • Prior travel assignment experience required
    • Expected weekly hours: 40
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience working in a high-volume, fast-paced acute care or trauma center environment
    • Familiarity with PET/CT, scintillation camera operation, and contemporary Nuclear Medicine technologies
    • Demonstrated ability to adapt to varying schedules and departmental needs
