Provide high-quality Nuclear Medicine imaging and data to interpreting physicians in accordance with departmental procedures and applicable State and Federal regulations
Perform Nuclear Medicine services for patients across all age groups, including Neonatal, Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric populations
Coordinate with physicians and nursing personnel regarding patient scheduling, patient preparation, and appropriate exam selection
Operate state-of-the-art scintillation cameras, computers, and related support equipment to produce high-quality Nuclear Medicine studies
Contact vendors as needed to order radiopharmaceuticals or arrange equipment repairs in the absence of a supervisor
Perform minor clerical duties and float to other areas of the organization as needed, up to competency level
Required Qualifications
ARRT or RCIS certification required
Active Nevada State License required and must be in hand prior to start date
BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required
Minimum of 2 years of Nuclear Medicine experience required
Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced clinical environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience working in a Level I or Level II Trauma Center environment
Demonstrated ability to adapt to varied patient populations with diverse physical, cognitive, and psychosocial needs
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and occasional additional shifts as department needs require
