Key Responsibilities- Perform PET/CT imaging procedures utilizing dual certification in Nuclear Medicine and Computed Tomography
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and satisfaction throughout the imaging process
- Interpret physician orders and select appropriate imaging parameters to produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Communicate effectively with patients, radiologists, and other healthcare professionals
- Train new technologists and patient coordinators
- Troubleshoot imaging equipment and related peripherals
- Assist in establishing protocols and workflows within a newly launched PET-CT department
Required Qualifications- Dual certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology and Computed Tomography
- Current ARRT or NMTCB certification in Nuclear Medicine
- ARRT certification in Computed Tomography (CT)
- Experience performing PET/CT imaging procedures
- Strong knowledge of radiation safety standards and protocols
Preferred Experience / Skills- Experience contributing to the development of imaging protocols and departmental workflows
- Prior experience training or mentoring imaging staff
- Familiarity with launching or supporting a new imaging department or service line
