Job Summary: A position for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist is available at a healthcare facility in Lithonia, Georgia. The role involves performing nuclear medicine imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions. The technician will work on a dayshift schedule, providing essential imaging services in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Job Details:
Certifications/Education/Experience: ARRT (NM) or NMTCB certification; BLS certification; at least 1 year of experience in nuclear medicine imaging.
Schedule: 8:00 am 3:30 pm, five days a week, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
Position Description: Responsible for executing nuclear medicine procedures using Siemens EVO/Siemens INTEVO equipment. The role involves working with patients presenting diagnoses such as coronary artery disease, hypertension, diabetes, cancer, shortness of breath, nausea/vomiting, tests for pulmonary embolism, osteomyelitis, gastrointestinal bleeding, and right lower quadrant pain.
Additional Information: The role requires float capability as needed to other departments including diagnostic imaging, hospital nuclear medicine, and cardiac services. No local candidates within 50 miles are accepted for this position.
Submission Requirements: Candidates must have valid ARRT (NM) or NMTCB certification and BLS certification.
