Job Summary:
The location is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist specializing in diagnostic imaging procedures. This role involves independently performing a variety of technical procedures that require judgment, ingenuity, and initiative to apply ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes. The technologist will utilize advanced imaging equipment, administer contrast agents as ordered, and ensure proper documentation and protocol adherence.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Night shift with 10 hours per shift; minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Graduate of an ARRT approved school of Radiologic Technology or verification from ARRT approved school of completion of program and scheduled graduation date. Technologists hired before graduation will have indirect supervision by an ARRT-certified diagnostic technologist until the degree is verified. Technologist cannot work in an outpatient setting until ARRT has been obtained. Minimum of 2 years of experience in the field. Valid ARRT Certificate, Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification (NMTC), and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. State license required.

  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
  • Additional Information: The technologist must demonstrate excellent patient interaction skills, proper identification of patients, proper documentation, and adherence to departmental protocols. All procedures must be properly coded, networked for archiving, and charges entered accurately. The start date for this assignment is 08/24/2026.
