Job Summary: Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Torrance, California. This position involves performing routine and advanced nuclear medicine procedures within an acute care hospital setting. The role requires rotational call coverage, with scheduled shifts during evenings and weekends, ensuring operational efficiency and patient care excellence.
Job Details:
Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Certifications in BLS and CNMT, CA state licensure in hand, at least 2 years of experience in nuclear medicine, and eligible for local acceptance.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Epic charting system, community hospital experience, and trauma level II experience are preferred.
Float: Float rotation may be required between facilities within the state.
Additional Information: Call responsibilities are rotational, with weekday hours from 5pm to 6am and weekends from 8am to 7am. Staff are scheduled to staff weekends with weekend morning coverage. Candidate must be prepared for holiday work and provide two references covering at least one year within the last three years. Candidates must have a valid Los Angeles Fire Card within the last 30 days.
Submittal Requirements: Candidates must respond to whether they have previously worked at a provider facility as a permanent employee, travel contractor, or registry/per-diem, including location and dates worked. Candidate's SSN and DOB are required at submission, along with proof of licensure and background check disclosures.
