Job Summary:
The location is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a position starting on August 10, 2026. This role involves performing a variety of nuclear imaging procedures including nuclear stress tests, Hida scans, VQ scans, biliary studies, lymph injections, and amyloid studies. The position offers a full-time schedule with a focus on adult and geriatrics patient populations in a busy nuclear medicine department.
Job Details:
- Schedule: 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (ARRT N or R), BLS certification, State license to practice, and 0 years of experience required.
- Preferred Qualifications: Experience with charting systems such as Epic, previous community hospital or LTAC setting experience, and trauma level experience are preferred.
- Special Procedures/Unit Details: Includes high scan load nuclear stress tests (outpatient/inpatient), Hida scans, VQ scans, biliary studies, lymph injections, and amyloid studies.
- Special Equipment: GE equipment, SPEC CTG850.
- Unit Details: Requires floating within the specialty, other units, and sister facilities. Weekend coverage includes every other weekend with weekend on-call requirements. On-call coverage is required weekdays from 4 pm to 10 pm twice per week; weekend on-call coverage is required every other weekend.
- Patient Age Groups: Adults and Geriatrics.
- Additional Information: The candidate must be comfortable floating within scope and working independently. The role involves management or lead experience and handling radioactive materials according to safety protocols.
