Job Summary:
Nuclear Medicine Technologist Philadelphia, PA. This position involves performing a variety of nuclear medicine and positron emission tomography (PET) imaging procedures, including whole-body oncology imaging, nuclear cardiology, GI, thyroid, and SPECT imaging. The role requires administering radiopharmaceuticals according to imaging requirements and maintaining quality control and records in compliance with state and federal regulations. The position offers a day shift schedule with no call, floating, weekends, or holidays.

Job Details:

• Required Qualifications:
  • Certifications: CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist) or ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
  • Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent; graduate of an American Medical Association (AMA) approved Radiology or Nuclear Medicine program; completion of a certificate program specializing in positron emission tomography (PET)
  • Licenses: Radiologic Technologist (N) license or Nuclear Medicine Technologist certification
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Experience: 2 years of relevant experience
• Preferred Qualifications: Not specified
• Additional Information:
  • Performs pharmaceutical and instrument quality control
  • Maintains records for state and federal agencies
  • Uses Siemens BIOGRAPH PET CT and Siemens ECAM equipment
