Job Summary:

Job Details:
- Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology Program or candidate meets NMTCB alternate eligibility criteria; 2 years of experience; ARRT Certificate or Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification (NMTC); Basic Life Support (BLS); State License; Theragnostic competency - provide Lutetium and Xofigo treatments

- Additional Information:
- Performs computed tomography procedures utilizing established scan protocols, including contrast
- Maintains appropriate records of the receipt, use, and disposal of radiopharmaceuticals
- Calculates, measures, and records patient dose according to departmental policy and Radiation Safety Guidelines
- Competently performs nuclear medicine exams at a high level of proficiency producing technically optimal results
- Performs all quality control checks on imaging and non-imaging equipment to ensure proper performance and functioning
- Demonstrates strong interaction skills with patients and co-workers, showing care, listening, dignity, and respect
- Communicates instructions to patients clearly, explaining procedures to alleviate fears and ensure cooperation
- Identifies all patients properly by using two patient identifiers and follows universal protocol during procedures
- Reviews patient history and assesses physician orders, applying departmental protocols for optimal data acquisition
- Documents patient history in electronic records as required, and ensures exams are properly coded, networked for archiving, and charges are accurately entered
