Description

American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist requiring ARRT (NM) or CNMT certification and an active NJ state license for Nuclear Medicine.

Details

• Hospital-based Radiology-Nuclear Medicine department
• Monday through Friday day shift schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• 40 hours per week across 5 days
• No on-call, weekend, or float requirements
• EPIC EMR system used for charting
• Travelers may float to a nearby sister hospital

Requirements

• ARRT (NM) or CNMT certification required
• Active NJ state license for Nuclear Medicine required, if applicable
• CPR certification required
• BS in Nuclear Medicine or graduate of an approved RT & Nuclear Medicine program required
• Experience in general nuclear medicine preferred, including bone, hepatobiliary, lung, and thyroid scans

Additional Information

• Prepares patients for examinations and radiopharmaceutical procedures
• Monitors patient physical condition throughout procedures
• Monitors equipment operation and scanning setup
