Job Summary:
Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Los Alamitos, California. This position involves performing nuclear medicine procedures in a hospital setting, supporting patient care for adult and geriatric populations. The role requires technical expertise in radiopharmaceuticals, equipment operation, and image processing, ensuring accurate and timely diagnostic images.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Day shift, 8 hours per day, minimum 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid California State License, all valid certifications including ARRT Nuclear Medicine Certification (N*), BLS, NMTCB*, and CPI Blue Card in-hand when applying. Experience in adult and geriatric patient populations, proficiency in GE and PET scan equipment, starting and maintaining IVs, and handling radioactive materials.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior experience in a hospital or LTAC setting, familiarity with electronic medical records such as Epic, and experience with nuclear medicine procedures including FDG whole body and skull to thigh scans.
• Additional Information: All applicants must be available to start on 08/24/2026. RTO policies specify no requests within the first two weeks; a maximum of 7 days of RTO per 13-week contract is highly preferred. References from two supervisor contacts are required. Experience with Epic systems and module completion during orientation are expected.
