Job Summary: This ongoing assignment is for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist at a healthcare facility in LA MESA, California. The position involves providing patient-centered nuclear medicine imaging services, collaborating with clinical teams to ensure optimal care, and responding to on-call situations as needed. The role offers opportunities to apply specialized skills in radiology and patient assessment within a dynamic clinical environment.
Job Details:
Schedule: Rotating shifts, 8 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. On-call on an as-needed basis with a 45-minute response time.
Required Qualifications: Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (Certified Technologist Nuclear Medicine (CTNM) California Department Public Health, NMTCB or ARRT (N)), Certified Computed Tomography (ARRT (CT) or NMTCB (CT)), Basic Life Support (AHA), at least 2 years of experience in radiology, and satisfactory completion of formal training in an AMA-approved school for Nuclear Medicine technology meeting California and Federal certification requirements.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in care planning, care implementation, patient care, patient assessment, clinical collaboration, and advocacy.
Additional Information: The role requires on-call availability with a specified response time, performing patient assessments and promoting quality outcomes through individualized care. The position is classified under Clinical - Allied - Travel.
