**Join Our Innovative Team as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist!** **Job Description:** - Be a key player in providing high-quality care by using immobilization devices and operating advanced Nuclear Medicine equipment. - Evaluate radio images utilizing the PACS System, ensuring proper identification and diagnostic value. - Prioritize safety by providing excellent radiation protection for yourself and your patients. - Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to enhance patient outcomes. - Perform various radionuclide procedures, including organ imaging and function studies, while assisting physicians with therapeutic radioisotope use. - Calibrate equipment and manage radiolabeled tracers, ensuring top-notch quality in patient care. - Efficiently receive and inspect radiopharmaceutical packages, adhering strictly to state and NRC guidelines. - Maintain meticulous records regarding the receipt, use, storage, and disposal of radioactive materials, complying with state and federal regulations. - Ensure a contamination-free environment by maintaining meticulous cleanliness and orderliness in the workspace. - Follow all NRC and State JCAHO guidelines diligently. - Rotate work assignments as needed across Cardiology and PET/CT to broaden your expertise. - Handle essential clerical duties using EPIC, Teletracking System, and Nuclear Medicine Information System while scheduling patient studies. - Welcome patients with a personal touch, utilizing A.I.D.E.T. standards to enhance their experience. - Address the unique needs of diverse patient populations with tailored care and effective communication. - Adhere to the standards established in the Medical Center's Organizational Competencies. **Skills & Experience:** - Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in a busy hospital setting as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist required. - General Nuclear Medicine and Nuclear Cardiology experience preferred. - PET and CT experience are advantageous. - Proficient in phlebotomy and familiar with EPIC. - Capable of performing Nuclear Medicine and/or PET exams with confidence. **Qualifications:** - High School Diploma or equivalent required. - Graduate of an approved School of Nuclear Medicine Technology required. - Valid NJDEP license is a must. - ARRT or NMTCB registry required. - BLS certification by the American Heart Association is required. **Languages:** - English (Read, Write, Speak) **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
