Job Summary:
Nuclear Medicine Technologist in Maryland This role involves operating PET/CT imaging equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process. Job Details:

• Location: Leonardtown, MD 20650
• Schedule: Monday to Wednesday (10-hour days), Friday (10-hour day); minimum 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: High school diploma or GED; associate's degree or equivalent experience preferred; AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) required; valid state drivers license if applicable; dual certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist through NMTCB or ARRT (Nuclear Medicine) and ARRT (Computed Tomography); state license required as applicable (Dually licensed in MD for both Nuc Med and CT).
• Experience: A minimum of 2 years of PET/CT imaging experience is preferred.
• Additional Information: The position involves operating equipment at multiple locations, including a hospital-based and outpatient settings. Responsibilities include patient safety, radiation safety compliance, image production, effective communication with radiologists and patients, and training new staff or coordinators. Local travel may be required.
