Responsibilities
- Perform nuclear medicine procedures under physician orders, including patient preparation and radiopharmaceutical administration.
- Acquire, process, and interpret nuclear medicine images; perform quality control and safety checks.
- Operate imaging equipment (Siemens Symbia T6) and ensure adherence to radiation safety protocols.
- Document procedures and results in the EMR; Cerner experience is preferred but not required.
- Monitor patient status during procedures; coordinate with nursing and radiology teams to ensure workflow efficiency and patient comfort.
- Maintain equipment, log maintenance and QC activities, and participate in ongoing quality improvement efforts.
Requirements
- Active NH or Compact RN license required at submission
- CNMT certification required
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
- RTO (time off) must be included at time of submission
- 2 recent specialty manager references
- Ability to work in a hospital-based, clinical setting
- EMR experience preferred; Cerner experience preferred but not required
