Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Hours: 40 hours/week

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain infection prevention and control programs
• Conduct infection surveillance and monitor infection trends
• Assist with outbreak investigations and prevention strategies
• Perform infection-control audits and compliance monitoring
• Provide infection prevention education and training to staff
• Maintain accurate infection-control documentation and reports
• Monitor adherence to facility policies and regulatory requirements
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Collaborate with nursing, clinical, and administrative teams

Requirements Active Infection Preventionist (IP) certification Previous Infection Prevention & Control experience preferred Long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or healthcare experience preferred Knowledge of infection prevention standards and regulatory requirements Strong documentation and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team
