Travelers may rotate between day and night shifts based on operational needs.
Job Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult Med/Surg Telemetry patients.
Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition.
Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions.
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
Document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes accurately.
Float to units J1-2, J33, and the Emergency Department to care for the same patient population as needed.
Participate in orientation and complete required competency assessments.
Requirements
Active Ohio RN License or Compact RN License.
Minimum 18 months of recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
Minimum 18 months of permanent RN experience in the specialty (travel experience may count toward recent MS/Tele experience).
AHA or American Red Cross BLS.
ACLS Certification.
NIHSS Certification.
Oncology/chemotherapy administration experience preferred but not required.
One manager, supervisor, ANM, or director reference from the specialty within the past 12 months.
