Job Summary:
The healthcare professional specializing in IV Vascular Access in Seattle, Washington, will be responsible for performing difficult or long-term vascular access procedures, including PICC lines, Midline placements, and Ultrasound-guided peripheral IV access. The role involves floating between different units and campuses, providing vital patient care for adolescents, adults, and geriatrics requiring vascular access services.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid BLS certification, two years of experience in IV Vascular Access, proficiency with PICC, Midline, and ultrasound-guided peripheral IV procedures, and the ability to float across units.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in community hospital settings, LTAC, trauma level II experience, and prior travel experience.
  • Certifications: BLS.
  • Skills: Central line blood draw, device stabilization, dressing change, flushing, image guidance, insertion procedures, phlebotomy, vascular access troubleshooting, ultrasound-guided peripheral venous access, patient positioning, patient/Family education, and support.
  • Schedule: 12-hour days, minimum 36 hours weekly, starting from 08/10/2026.
  • Additional Information: The role requires performing advanced vascular access procedures, with a focus on PICC lines, Midline, and ultrasound-guided peripheral IV insertion. The candidate must be open to floating between units and campuses, with a commitment to providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
