Job Summary:
The Massachusetts-based healthcare provider is seeking a registered nurse specializing in IV Vascular Access. This role involves delivering patient-centered nursing care, including administering medications, managing vascular access devices such as PICC lines and midlines, and providing education and support to patients and staff. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment focused on high-quality care and community engagement.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Rotating shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing, currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in Massachusetts, Basic Life Support Certification (BLS), successful completion of CCHs Pharmacology exam, proficiency in peripheral line placement for children and newborns within 6 months, IV Certification (CRNI) within 2.5 years, must read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience with PICC placement and ultrasound-guided PIVs, proficiency in PICC placement within 1 year, BSN degree preferred.
  • Additional Information: The role emphasizes proper utilization of the nursing process, accurate documentation, patient safety, and participation in staff meetings and committees. Candidates are expected to demonstrate proficiency in computerized nursing informatics and assume roles of resource person and charge nurse when needed.
