Job Summary

Mountain Ridge Ctr is seeking an experienced Infection Prevention RN to support patient safety, infection control, staff education, and quality improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have previous infection prevention or infection control experience and a strong commitment to maintaining a safe, compliant, and high-quality patient care environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and implement infection prevention and control practices throughout the facility.
• Conduct infection surveillance and monitor infection trends.
• Educate and train staff on PPE, hand hygiene, isolation precautions, and infection control practices.
• Assist with infection outbreak prevention, investigation, and response.
• Maintain accurate infection prevention documentation, records, and reports.
• Conduct audits and support quality improvement initiatives.
• Promote compliance with infection prevention policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with nursing leadership and clinical teams to identify and address infection risks.
• Support ongoing patient safety and infection prevention programs.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience.
• Previous Infection Prevention/Infection Control experience required.
• Strong knowledge of infection prevention practices and patient safety standards.
• Excellent communication, education, and organizational skills.
