Acute Care Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Medical/Surgical
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for an acute care setting in Havre, Montana. This role involves providing essential patient care on a Medical/Surgical unit, working within a structured environment where established policies and procedures guide healthcare provision.
The successful candidate will contribute to a multidisciplinary team, delivering age-appropriate nursing care under the direct supervision of professional nursing staff. This is an excellent opportunity to support patient recovery and well-being in a dynamic hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care, including assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
Monitor and record vital signs, intake and output, and other patient data, reporting any significant changes or concerns to the nursing staff.
Assist patients with mobility, transfers, and ambulation, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient environment.
Document patient care activities accurately and timely in accordance with facility policies.
Respond to patient call lights promptly and courteously.
Collaborate effectively with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED.
Completion of an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program.
Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as a CNA in an acute care or hospital setting, preferably Medical/Surgical.
