Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor for a contract assignment in Waterloo, New York. This role involves providing leadership and clinical oversight to nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care within a dynamic healthcare environment.

The RN Supervisor will be responsible for managing daily unit operations, coordinating patient admissions and discharges, and acting as a resource for clinical decision-making. Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate nursing staff, including Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, and Certified Nursing Assistants.
  • Oversee daily patient care activities, ensuring adherence to established policies, procedures, and standards of care.
  • Provide clinical guidance and support to nursing staff, assisting with complex patient cases and emergent situations.
  • Monitor patient outcomes and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Facilitate effective communication between nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Manage patient admissions, transfers, and discharges efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and facility protocols.
  • Participate in staff education and performance evaluations as needed.
  • Address patient and family concerns promptly and professionally.
Required Qualifications
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State.
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • Minimum of 1 year of supervisory or charge nurse experience.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
