The Registered Nurse (RN) – Perinatal provides specialized nursing care to women before, during, and after childbirth. The focus of this role is to support maternal and fetal health, monitor labor progression, assist with delivery, and provide post-partum care to new mothers. The RN in perinatal care will work in collaboration with obstetricians, midwives, neonatologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being of both the mother and the baby throughout pregnancy, labor, delivery, and the post-partum period.
