Registered Nurse - Acute Medicine
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Acute Medicine Unit in Lawrenceville, Georgia. This role involves providing comprehensive nursing care to adult patients with a variety of acute medical conditions within a hospital setting.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, ensuring adherence to established protocols and standards. This is a night shift position, offering an opportunity to contribute to patient well-being during critical hours.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care, including assessment, medication administration, and treatment, according to physician orders and nursing care plans.
Monitor patient vital signs, observe changes in condition, and report significant findings to the medical team.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
Educate patients and their families on health conditions, medications, and discharge instructions.
Maintain accurate and thorough electronic health records.
Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
Required Qualifications
Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia or compact state eligibility.
Minimum of Not specified years of recent experience within an Acute Medicine or Medical-Surgical specialty.
American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility.
