Job Opportunity – Endoscopy Registered Nurse – Northeast Ohio

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Akron, Ohio

Schedule: Day shift with varying start times (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, or 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM). Specific shift times will be discussed during the interview process. No regularly scheduled weekends. On-call requirements include 1-2 weekday evening calls per week (after shift until 7:00 AM) and 1-2 weekend calls per 6-week period (24-hour Saturday and Sunday coverage). One-hour response time for call. Potential holiday call coverage.

Requirements:

• Active Ohio RN license or current Compact State RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum of 12 months permanent endoscopy nursing experience required
• Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Supervisory reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director from an assignment within the past 12 months required
• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Influenza vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Successful completion of background screening (no open cases)
• BCI/FBI fingerprinting must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
