We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract assignment in Middleburg Heights, Ohio. This role offers an opportunity to provide high-quality patient care within a dynamic healthcare environment, contributing to positive patient outcomes.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient well-being. This position requires a commitment to delivering compassionate and effective care during night shifts.
Key Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on patient needs and medical history.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, monitoring for efficacy and potential adverse reactions.
Monitor and accurately document patient vital signs, symptoms, and medical history in the electronic health record (EHR).
Collaborate effectively with physicians, other nurses, and healthcare professionals to coordinate and optimize patient care.
Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment plans, and self-care techniques to promote recovery and wellness.
Respond promptly to medical emergencies and provide critical care interventions as needed.
Ensure compliance with all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards to maintain a safe and effective care environment.
Required Qualifications
Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Ohio.
Minimum of 1-2 years of recent experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting.
Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
