We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Rochester, New York. This role offers an opportunity to provide high-quality patient care within a dynamic healthcare environment, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, ensuring adherence to professional nursing standards and facility policies. This position requires a commitment to patient safety, excellent clinical judgment, and effective communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care, including comprehensive assessments, medication administration, and therapeutic interventions.
Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Monitor patient conditions, document observations accurately, and report changes to the medical team promptly.
Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment plans, medications, and self-care techniques.
Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records in compliance with facility standards and regulatory requirements.
Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards, including those related to infection control and patient safety.
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
Minimum of 1-2 years of recent acute care Registered Nurse experience.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA).
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (AHA).
