This is an exciting 13-week travel contract opportunity for a dedicated Registered Nurse in Penn Yan, New York. Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, monitoring for efficacy and adverse reactions.
Monitor and record vital signs, symptoms, and medical information accurately.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
Educate patients and their families on health conditions, medications, and self-care techniques.
Maintain accurate and thorough patient records in the electronic medical record (EMR) system.
Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate interventions as needed.
Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York.
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
Relevant clinical experience as a Registered Nurse.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
