We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Rochester, New York. This role offers an opportunity to provide high-quality patient care within an acute care hospital environment, contributing to a collaborative healthcare team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs.
Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care in collaboration with the healthcare team.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, accurately documenting all interventions and patient responses.
Monitor patient conditions, interpret data, and respond to changes in status promptly and effectively.
Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment plans, and self-care strategies.
Maintain accurate and thorough electronic health records, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.
Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
Required Qualifications
Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
Minimum of 1-2 years of recent experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting.
